What Did Jack Do? is as surreal as anything he's ever done. Every line of dialogue has these non-sequiturs, each sentence often nearly approaching something that could have to do with the murder plot, or be complete gibberish. The deepfake mouth on the monkey was consistently unsettling, and the musical number felt very Tim and Eric. I loved it and want to watch it again.

Starting this. Do I start with season 1? I couldn’t help but laugh during some of the crying scenes during the pilot.

 

You have to watch the whole thing. The Return would not be as powerful without it.

 

Embrace the campiness of it. It won’t feel as extreme once you are settled in to the world. You definitely want to work your way through in order (S1,2, fire walk with me, the return)
