Mad Men used to be my #1 but The Return changed that for me. But I still absolutely adore Mad Men.

 

The Sopranos is my number one, but that's not this decade. Twin Peaks has got to be it.

 

The Americans is up there for me but that’s probably the only other show that competes with The Return.

Damn I need to rewatch this. I was hoping my girlfriend would get me The Return on BluRay for Xmas (I dropped so many hints) but I may cave in and just get it.

 

Yeah, that’s how much I got it for. What was the price originally?

 

$155 before taxes and shipping.

 

I watched the 4K edition of Part 8 tonight. What is there to say? It’s just astounding.

 

I’m pretty confident that The Return is my definitive favorite era of Twin Peaks at this point. I watched all of it over the last few years so it’s not too wild but I wonder how many people feel the same that watched the show when it originally came out.

 

I'd love to know what those people think of the return, ha.

 

I need to re-watch the Return to fully rate it compared to old Twin Peaks, but I don't think anything will compare to the first season til the reveal of the killer for me personally. Hard to say. I had such a blast watching the Return though and obviously it was incredible/lived up to the hype. I'm just still indifferent to the finale.
