They could also do something like they did with the Blurryface cycle where they released Fairly Local as a teaser track then released Tear in My Heart two weeks later.
Another update on the DMA website. New photo and a short audio clip that when reversed definitely sounds like Tyler's voice. Again, nothing substantial but I do think things are getting close.
That's honestly the most likely option. I think its been right under our noses the entire time too....
I'm getting stupid giddy rn. am I going to be up all night on twitter waiting for something to drop at midnight? you bet
They're asleep. The night took forever to arrive, and now we're almost ready. We've studied the watchers, and know that there's no chance that we can step through unnoticed. So, instead of trying to hide ourselves, we'll make sure that all of us are noticed. It's been one year since the last convocation, and tomorrow's Annual Assemblage of Glorified will be the biggest spectacle this concrete coffin of a city has seen all year. If we time it right, we'll divert the attention of the watchers and finally take the step through. We've had no contact, but we're hoping the other side will be able to find a way in. We're not sure of the breach location, but we are willing to risk being smeared in order to find it. We know that we must go lower, and wait for the torches. They've never seen anything quite like this, and by morning, everything will be different. I'm terrified and excited, all at the same time. They don't control us. -Clancy.
I'm so ready. Still crazy it's been a year since that eye closed. My anticipation is pretty much through the roof for new music.
So I honestly didn't care for these guys for a LONG time, didn't like most of what I heard off of Blurryface... a while back a friend convinced me to check out their debut self-titled album and I was actually REALLY impressed, it changed my viewpoint on the band completely. I'm still not too into a lot of their newer stuff, but if they can win someone like me back over with this next album I'll take it as a success.
