Definitely going to have to try for the Nashville show, especially if Denver is all the way at the end of the tour. Would love to see their 1st show back this era, and since it's only 3 months away, I have a feeling that may actually be the first show they play.
Half of me finds these guys to be a poor imitation of WHY? but the other half just kinda enjoys it. I’ll probably go to this.
Verified Fan is so dumb. Hopefully it won't be the shitshow it was when they did the Columbus shows considering these are more spread out and it shouldn't be the entire country fighting for one city.
Speaking of Columbus, stunned there's no Columbus date, although I'd almost guarantee that they'll announce a Columbus show either right before or after the NA dates.
Honestly I only loved Vessel/Regional At Best, but they're my Mom's favorite "current" band, so I need to take her no matter what, lol.
Surprised there aren't gaps for potential second nights in the big cities as I assume demand will be high for these shows.
Demand will be big, but probably not "sell out arenas" big Some of the bigger cities and cities with venues under 15,000 capacity will probably sell out, but realistically not any more than a week or so in advance. And if they sell out, there will still be enough tickets left on stubhub to not justify a second show.
You're joking right? All of these shows will sell out almost immediately. This is one of the biggest bands on the entire planet.
Yeah I don’t understand that comment...both legs of Emotional Roadshow practically sold out at the onsale. Sure, they’ve been gone for a year but it’s not like people forgot about them. This tour will sell fast.
Who's opening for them, though? I'm banking on Every Time I Die and Mindless Self Indulgence just to spook the kids.
Biggest "band" on the planet doesn't mean much these days. Maybe I'm just not getting it, but I think they're like barely bigger than like Halsey or Fall Out Boy. They're definitely not as big as Drake/Migos, and their tour still has plenty of tickets available at this same venue at my city. They just have a louder more present fanbase, but considering the age range of said fans I don't think fans directly equal ticket sales. EDIT: Maybe I'm an idiot. I've just never met someone who genuinuinely likes TOP in real life, and they've just become a parody of themselves at this point in the mainstream. But if y'all are saying their last tour sold out then I guess I'll take your word for it.
Idk, Maybe I'm an idiot. I've just never met someone who genuinely likes TOP in real life, and they've just become a parody of themselves at this point in the mainstream. I honestly doubt anyone gives a damn anymore. But if y'all are saying their last tour sold out then I guess I'll take your word for it.
I don't even know anymore. "BLURRYFACE also achieved a milestone unrivaled in the digital era, becoming the first album in which every individual song on the album certified Gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum by the RIAA." Yeah, no one cares though.
Several factors at play. One, the fanbase is much more urgent to buy tickets. BECAUSE it is a younger fanbase, they need to get the tickets right away cus they can't pay the upscaled prices on the second hand market. The fans feel that they absolutely HAVE to be there. You're average Drake fan is older and less likely to see this is a major priority in their life. They'll check out the ticket prices closer to the event and if they want to go, then they'll get the tickets then. Also, parents are more likely to be financially helping kids go to top, so they are going to get it for their kid right away. They're way way bigger than Halsey and are probably about where FOB was in their prime. These shows will sell out. More dates will be added next summer probably. And most importantly, Drake/Migos tour is way way more expensive. Nosebleeds for that are something like $80/90, which is the price to see TOP in the best seats/on the floor.
They're definitely more popular than Halsey and Fall Out Boy at this point. These tickets, particularly in big cities, will go quickly. My only thought is that they are limiting themselves to one date possibly because they are planning to do festivals next summer. Wouldn't be surprised if they do a multi-festival deal with Live Nation and are at Gov Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, etc.
Another note about the Drake/Migos tour is that there are like 6-7 area dates in my city which makes it far easier to get into second-hand.
Haha, that'd be funny but doubt it. I think the two guys in 21 Pilots are really conscious of shows being "family friendly" so I'd expect it to be Sirius XM stuff like Lovelytheband, Alice Merton or whatever.
