Ugh, I had no shot at floor tickets. Kept releasing and retrying but never got to the floor. Ended up getting Section 106, Row 2 (aisle seats). I'll take it, I guess.
We don’t have openers for this arena tour yet, right? That’s probably the tiebreaker for me on whether I try to see them on this album cycle
They haven't announced them and I doubt they will until closer to the tour. The shows are going to sell out regardless, so it's not like an opener is going to help move tickets.
Randomly checked the general public sale this morning and floor tickets were available for a good 8-10 minutes. Now I'm even more angry that I purchased seats (at the same price too...SMH).
I had no idea they came out with a new album haha. Really enjoyed Trench so I’ll check this out. What’s the general consensus on this album? People liking it?
I think I've landed on it being the weakest since Vessel but it's not bad by any means, I still enjoy most of it a lot
That’s definitely going to be good! Did anyone else get tickets for their in theater livestream event?
I just randomly stumbled upon Peter McPoland's music last weekend while scrolling through Instagram. Had never heard of him until that, and now seeing this.
Watch Twenty One Pilots Strip Down 'Stressed Out' in Exclusive 'MTV Unplugged' Clip I was really looking forward to this, but it sounds like it's not even...an unplugged. The concert — filmed in Los Angeles — deviates from the acoustic-only mandate of previous Unplugged shows but still manages to capture the intimacy of those lower-key performances as compared to the duo’s bombastic arena concerts. As MTV says of the Twenty One Pilots’ gig, “This is MTV’s most plugged Unplugged.”
I was really hoping for a lot of ukulele and some string instruments. Historically, they've done a really good job of recreating covers or their own songs in a stripped down fashion. That clip was totally not at all what I was expecting.
Seems more in the vein of reinterpreting songs like that Mutemath collab they did a few years back rather than “unplugged.” But this clip sounds fantastic, especially the complementing vocals
