Unexpected!! Super excited for this

 

I'm confused with this being announced at the same time as the Blurryface cover album. Regardless, I'm very excited considering how much I enjoyed Clancy (after not liking it much initially). I have no ties to the lore other than some very basic pieces, so I'm determined to do a cliff notes version to catch up and enjoy this last chapter.

i don't think the band had anything to do w the cover album and it's just a labor of love from the mag/artists doing the covers but i could be wrong.

 

That actually makes more sense. Was so confusing seeing hype leading into this album and the cover album, ha.

 

Lets go!!! I had a feeling there was additional material but wasn't expecting a full on separate album.

 

Got out of a work meeting and saw this in my email. WTF.

 

LFG!! Clancy was incredible. Can't wait to see what's next - appears to be a sister record to Clancy?

 

Also read some ramblings that it's a play on skirting their breach of contract with FBR? I need to read more about it.

Yeah, part of me wonders if this is really all brand new material, or leftovers from Clancy or if two albums were made during the Clancy era and this is just part 2?

Either way, this band never misses so I'm pumped.

Didn’t Tyler create his own record label or something? And even sign an artist?

I could see this being their final album on FBR before moving everything to Tyler’s label.

Saw Reddit blowing up about how the first press vinyl for Breach was removed from the store and an email was sent out saying the first press will be numbered, come with a poster, among other small stuff. Things are definitely brewing.

 

Yeah, this is great. Paul Meany is all over this one.

 

Yeah, wow. Totally unexpected and I truly dig it. I'm getting hints of emo-electronicore from '08 in a great way. Really excited to see how they push the envelope with this one.

 

this one's way more immediate for me than overcompensate was. REALLY excited to see how they can build on this.

 

Tyler and Josh were on Zane Lowe today as well, although I cannot find any video of it.

ANNNNDD it’s an amphitheater tour.

I might break my “don’t like outdoor shows” rule for this one. I’ve never seen them live and I’ve been a pretty big fan for almost a decade.
