Oh maybe, yeah I do have prime Also only $1300 for the 55 inch, not too bad. Still happy with the $1099 deal I got on my 55 inch C2 a few months ago tho
My surplus store didnt have the C3 anymore (no surprise), but they did have a bunch of Samsung S90Cs. Picked up a 65” for just about $1200 after tax. Hard to beat that. I’d sworn off Samsung for the most part, but the price was too good to pass up and this thing is gorgeous. Insanely bright, too. The QD-OLED hype is legitimate.
I randomly decided to look at this again and realized the door was stuck in the port! I used a knife to get it out (got hit in the face in the process) and now it works!
Isn’t the transparent tv for specialized use cases and not necessarily for watching tv? More for decor?
the tv looks great. i generally don’t love the quality of stuff in Dolby Vision but stuff that doesn’t use that i can use the hisense filmmaker mode with looks great. why does dolby vision suck lol
it took some playing around with. i didn't love dolby iq, which is how i had it set, but dolby dark with lower contrast in my living room got it looking how i want it. turns out youtube is a helpful resource, hah.
Is green toe trustworthy? 42 inch LG C3 for only $849 right now. Guessing they don't have some sort of protection plan like Best Buy would, though?
They're just a middle-man. You'll get the TV delivered from a legitimate, authorized retailer. It's just a way for those sites to sell below LG's protected pricing without being revealed. BuyDig is one of their big sellers. You'd have to go third-party for a warranty, but, no issues otherwise. Just a heads up, though: a lot of people have been having success scoring the 42" C2 for $500 from Best Buy in stores by asking an employee to place an order for them. They're sold out online, but stores have access to some in warehouses. You have to order in store, but then they're shipped to you directly. YMMV, of course, but if you have a location real close, I'd say it's definitely worth the shot!
Absolute banger of a deal. Almost wanna just get it for a bedroom tv.. haha https://www.ign.com/articles/best-gaming-monitor-deals-2024-lg-ultragear-48gp900-oled-tv
