This was kinda lame?

 

On par for what I expected, it’s a fine summer jam

 

How am I expected to not overplay this into the ground

This definitely comes across as an opener. Gonna try hard not to overplay it til we have more info but that’ll be tough

Also produced by Mike Elizondo?? What a cool choice. I thought Will Yip was a great match for them but I’m really digging how crisp this sounds

I dunno, I think this song is pretty sick. That opening and closing little whirlydoo is super cool and the rest of the song sounds like a heavier TBS track, and I say that in a good way

 

i mean it was pretty much what i was expecting...and i dug it

gives me ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Blind’ vibes, which isn’t a bad thing whatsoever.

Maybe it’s his vocals going between melodic and shouts but it kinda reminds me of self titled era Third Eye Blind

 

I honestly don’t get how anyone (who’s a Turnstile fan) could dislike this.

This a certified jam. Love it.

That single second at 1:18 transitioning into the second verse is so sick haha. Sneaking in little bits of chaos

 

I like the song but I get the complaint.

 

Yeah same. It’s been three years, can’t blame people for craving some actual riffs. With that said it’s not like this is that different from like, Blue By You or something. People in their comments and mentions acting like they went soft need to back up

 

Like I said, the song isn't bad. I just wanted a barnburner of a single that gets me hyped like Real Thing.

Until the album drops, there's plenty of other hardcore and punk to fill that itch for me.
