I can honestly say I've never been this into a "hardcore" record. I use that term loosely because there is a lot going on here. Is it a weird comparison to say Turnstile is to hardcore what Joyce Manor is to pop-punk? Both play in a fairly stale genre, but breathe new life into it with albums that clock in under 30 minutes. EDIT: Is the newest Code Orange album considered hardcore? Because I dug that one a lot too.
Finally got round to checking this out and yeah this albums pretty good, this is definitley going to be on rotation for a while for me. As a few of you have mentioned that you don't normally listen to hardcore (as a couple of you have mentioned already), if you're looking for something similar, the Higher Power album from last year was great.
The writer thinks that “Drop” is on this album lol what a joke Should probably put down the thesaurus and read the album tracklist instead
This record passed the car test for me over the weekend. Cant wait to jam this with the windows down once we get some actual warm weather where I live. Such a fun record. Not sure how i'd rate it in relation to Nonstop Feeling.
I wasn’t planning on being interested in this album but holy shit it’s encompasing my entire rotation schedule. Additionally, I couldn’t even make it through the first sentence of the pitchfork review without wanting to slam my head into a meat grinder. That guy must have explored that thesaurus for hours.
This is so good, Got it on now and it's amazing how much I love this considering I haven't been into heavier music lately.
I thought the track with all clean vox was a guest spot from Greg from TDEP. Imagine my surprise. Separately this a great album
