Today, I feel like I like Never Enough better than Glow On. I'm not sure if that is because Glow On is one of my most listened to albums ever, and NE feels fresh in comparison, but I really, really love this album. I think it might be slightly better paced. Glow On for me personally peaks around Wild Wrld, and while I like the next 5 songs, it feels like one of those should've been moved to the first half of the tracklist.
Gonna be hard for anything else to top this as my AOTY. Great Summer record. Still coming back to it every few days!
Couple of moments that still blow me away: -Ending of Sole -Look Out For Me's "NOW MY HEART IS HANGIN' BY A THREAD" is just pure chef's kiss -How jammy and dancy I Care is -Horns in Dreaming are class Also the numerous moments where I want to jump off a vertical surface and throw bows.
All of those moments. Also, the guitar kicking in at the beginning of Light Design was my favorite "wow" moment when i heard it the first time during the movie. Still gets me.
I think my favorite Turnstile album is whichever one I am listening to at the moment. as far as Never Enough goes specifically, I know it’s been a polarizing aspect of the record for people but I really love the interludes, they’re some of the coolest parts of the record for me and they really help distinguish the record from being simply Glow On pt. 2 imo. this record has more of an ebb and flow to it. but when I am listening to Glow On I also really appreciate the fact that it is leaner by comparison.
The only thing better than listening to this album is listening to this album while eating Taco Bell.
Need the visual album in 4K, physical media. This transforms a song I already loved into something that made me want to cry.
i'd love a Blu-ray, but if not, at least give us a decent digital option - preferably in 4K with the purported surround mix that played in select theaters
I never understood them, they just felt too loud, and a few days ago I put them on and just never stopped listening for the next hour or so. Got a bit to explore.
I've admittedly only listened to this one and Glow On This one keeps growing on me. I liked it initially, but I keep going back to it. Really need to dive deeper, though
they send you a shirt with a Blu-ray sized print on it you have to cut out with scissors and put in your Blu-ray player of choice, and that's how you watch the film
