The Turnstile page was live from the submenu before it hit the homepage, I just clicked it at 8pm and checked out with Apple Pay
I have no idea and don’t really care. A regular gildan shirt is absolute trash. Comfort colors is good quality. If gildan does own them then they should only make comfort colors quality shirts.
Gildan purchased Comfort Colors a few years back. They made them slightly less nice but they’re still infinitely better than a standard Gildan, I might prefer Gildan Hammer to certain Comfort Colors styles though.
The only problem I have with CC is the neck can be too tight sometimes. Definitely prefer them to Gildan standard or even hammer though. Shaka is nice too but don't see tons of people print on them.
Spiritbox did some shirts with Comfort Colors for their most recent tour and the one i have is really nice re: quality and comfort
I just buy shirts and wear them, I have no idea what brand any of my shirts are unless Target and Abercrombie count, then yes I do know
Comfort Colors heavyweight are great and should be the standard, but it does make me sad that you don’t really see Bella + Canvas as much anymore. In terms of softness and breathability they’re still tops
I will peel my skin off with a spoon before I wear a Bella Canvas shirt again. Very glad we've moved past shirts that are as long as a dress and as tight as a wetsuit with neckholes the size of watermelons and gotten a little more with the times, although I think Shaka is really the only blank shirt worth printing on these days
I buy Bella Canvas tri-blend blanks as my default t-shirt. I prefer the light weight and flexible fabric to the currently popular heavy/boxy (and imo scratchy) trend.
I thought Bella shirts were a little too snug for a long time before I learned to just order the right size. I’m 6ft 185lb and their larges fit wonderfully. The softer fabric/slightly wider neck lays better on the shoulder too, my sole issue with CC is how much the sleeves point out
Sad to say I moved on from this record pretty quickly. maybe something brings me back to it later this year.
I've not gone more than 3 days in the past month and a half without listening to at least one Turnstile album. I think it's safe to say they well and truly won me over haha Also just noticed their webshop has a cassette of the album. Definitely getting that!
Talking of cassettes, was Glow On ever released on cassette? I've had a look around and just seen some (admittedly very good looking) unofficial ones.
