Love the album as a whole but my new take is Glow On is better but the best songs on Never Enough crush anything on Glow On. With that being said Time & Space wins.
I never really 'got' Glow On but having spent time with this, I think this is outstanding. Saw the visual film thing and really appreciated hearing the album through cinema speakers. Big fan.
Glad they pressed supply to meet demand this time. Still haven't picked this up but I don't have to worry about it!
another fun fact is they are also on the new Skate game that is currently in beta mode. New Heart Design is the one in it.
i've looked into this, and people on Reddit said the original plan was to release this on YouTube before they got a theatrical deal with Sumerian. my assumption is that it'll go up there soon, and hopefully they're smart and take advantage of the fact that YouTube has 5.1 audio capabilities, and upload that theatrical audio mix
The mix sounded like shit in our theater, so I really hope they release that mix, so I can hear the proper 5.1 on our home system
I had so much fun at the theatre but yeah, the mix sounded awful. Terribly compressed and lots of nasty high-end distortion. I put it up to the old speakers in there, I doubt they've been replaced in over a decade.
Movie theater speakers for the most part are pretty bad, especially at the big ones like AMC. Hope the YouTube version is solid.
Wild take imo but maybe it’s a regional thing. I support the indie theaters near me as much as I can but will take the sound at a big box theater like AMC, Harkins, Cinemark, or Regal over them ten out of ten times
Didn’t realise Turnstile were playing Glastonbury. On in a couple of minutes on BBC iPlayer. Turn on your VPNs!
What a set, holy shit. Mad that this is the same band I saw in a tiny bar venue a few years back. Love seeing them smash it for like 10k+ people today.
OMG No show close to Sweden and no show on a Saturday :( I might have to take a day off from work for this. The question is which show to go for. Looking at Dublin or Berlin.
As someone who doesn't routinely go to hardcore shows and has balance issues due to their disability, are standing Turnstile crowds rowdy enough I should get a seated ticket instead?
If you’re not in the pit, I think you’ll be fine - I’ve only seen them at a festival but I was towards the back and had plenty of space, just vibing and dancing
