Looks like the “pit” area for Chicago is completely sold out. Nothing popped with the live nation presale that just went up.
it's apparently a new venue, it's inbetween the coliseum and national western complex, literally under I70 haha. I gotta go scope it out because I have no idea.
Ticket prices are insane everywhere that’s why PUP rules because their’s were only $40 after fees. Seems unheard of these days.
Cannot stop listening to this album. The songs and production are all there, and the "interludes" feel essential to me. My complaint is that I can't really pick Hayley Williams out on Birds. But I guess I also like that it's more of a "our friend was on this track" rather than a huge feature? Would love to see them live but feels too pricey for me rn
Definitely don't blame you. I don't really like any of these bands enough to justify the cost but it feels like it's gonna be an "event" and you can't really get in the door of many 1000+ cap shows for less than that nowadays.
Was able to snag 4 tix with Autobuy feature on Seated for $69.50 a piece for the Oregon date. Got the order confirmation around 9:30 and the pre-sale starts at noon. Best ticket purchase experience I've had. It's all GA lawn, meaning I can go down to the pit for a few songs and head back to our spot to cool off. So stoked. Perfect way to end Turnstile summer.
Well now I'm annoyed. I didn't realize there was a difference in price between Seated and just going through the venue link. I paid $87 (and probably shouldn't be spending that much rn)
Hayley Williams was quoted saying Turnstile is her Fugazi and my first thought was like, not with these current ticket prices lol Get that bag tho TS
Which is why my next planned show is $20 seeing one of my favorite shitty little bands in an industrial space.
Damn. Sorry you got shafted there. I just put a ticket in my cart for $81.50 and it looks like the scale went from $69.50-92.50, so I'm assuming it just went up automatically based on tix sold so far.
95% of the shows I go to are under $40 and most are under $20 and I prefer those types of shows regardless of price. That being said I'll go to a couple larger shows a year. Skipped Metallica this last time because it was split over 2 nights and would have been $200-300+ each night to get in the venue and another $100 just to park.
Damn. I should have tried harder but I don't think I could have only gone to one night without FOMO of the 2nd night and it just seemed crazy expensive when I first looked at tickets. I dropped $250 to see a single show on the previous tour and it was worth it for me because I was like 15 feet from Kirk.
Got my ticket to see them in Des Moines. The night before I'm seeing Blink and Alkaline Trio in Kansas City. Best fucking weekend ever!
