Time Is Happening uses like the exact same melody as You In Weird Cities by Jeff Rosenstock and it really threw me off lol

 

This rocks so much though. My aoty after one listen and it’s not particularly close.

haha I said earlier it sounded like weezer but ive always thought you in weird cities melody was super weezer so this tracks.

I can't recall a band since the emo wave of the early 00's getting a mainstream push like these guys...Jimmy Fallon...Charlie XCX call outs at Coachella.....maybe it's my social media algorithm but it is crazy!

The connective tissue from the run of Sunshower to Birds is exactly what I was hoping from this album.

 

Also I'm not sure if this is on purpose but I find it fascinating that the lyrics on Apple Music are all capitalized except for Magic Man

My record is now coming today not Monday!!! Turnstile summer!!!

 

Never Enough really feels like a generational rock album. This will be one people are still talking about 10,20,30 years from now.

Turnstiles willingness to push the boundary of their sound to the brink and do it masterfully, no less, is so fucking sick. And the visuals added a whole new element to this record that I think really elevates the listening experience.

 

I was trying to figure out what it reminded me of, I think this is it

 

This is as good or better than the last one. Band rocks

I think it’s great how they’re throwing all these new elements into the mix but the songs generally take a more stripped sort of back to basics approach in their execution

 

This is kind of my entry point to them in the sense that it is the first album cycle I really feel a part of. This RULES. Dull is the early highlight, for sure.

 

The trumpets make me wanna dropkick someone. They rule.

 

Wait wtf. Sunshower is a whole new level.
