So wild hearing this in a packed movie theater for the first time. Great record though.

Yeah the movie was incredible. Only watched the Never Enough video when it came out and listened to the singles but went in almost blind for the visuals. Just incredible all around.

I definitely love this a ton more than Glow On. Incredible record.

Just got out of the theater. Holy Shit, love this band so much. My fiancé is now officially a fan! We had great people next to us. Gonna be my album of the summer. Visuals were fantastic. So many feelings, haha. So impressed with this entire release.

This venue has a bizarre layout and Teezo has been a buzz kill

I’m in Greece for vacation and I still don’t have access to the album on Spotify. It’s 4:55am :(

  14. maybe the movie theater soundsystem of it all, but jeez this is some outstanding sounding shit

  15. Seated for the movie. Didn’t realize the popcorn bucket for it was a big pit shit. Pretty cool

Was pretty disappointed with my AMC’s sound (speaker on the right was distorted or something and driving me nuts) but it didn’t ruin the experience for me.

Had so much fun with this, album is absolutely beautiful.

I had a sense that this album would inherit the occasional rock tradition of sitting parallel to “the big one” while standing tall on its own. The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, even Vampire Weekend had that sort of “rinse and repeat” reputation.

There’s a real earnest ring to where this record mimics Glow On melodies and its motifs. At a certain point, the added range they show here makes up for the moments when it veers familiar.

  21. Starting the album with an ad for Regal was a weird choice that I’m not sure will play on the audio only version of the album. But otherwise yeah this was pretty good!

    That jet ski, though.

What a special way to experience the album.

The second jet ski inclusion got an audible laugh in my theater. That surprise cameo appearance in the last song was nuts. I hope they drop the whole thing online soon. Can’t wait to revisit.

Audio at my showing was pretty low but I enjoyed it! There was one guy that made a few remarks trying to be funny but it seemed like most people liked it. My two friends and I had a great time. About to start my first listen with my good headphones.

First impressions are Glow On clears this by a good bit but these guys have earned a fairer shake from me and they will get one
