Still can't really wrap my head around the fact that I'll be hearing this record in full for the first time in surround sound at a movie theatre.
Is there no noise curfew at K Bridge? I could've sworn all outdoor NYC venues have a strict 10pm cut off. A 5 band bill that doesnt start until 7pm is wild.
Feels like it would be a little more relaxed since the K Bridge is mainly for EDM events but who knows!
According to Setlist.FM the Empire Of The Sun show there ended at 10:45 so I imagine 11 is the curfew. I've never been there but since it's literally under a bridge...wonder how bad traffic noise from above will impact the show.
Wish there were more interviews or something to consume to hold me over until Thursday. I'm deep in my Turnstile bag lately (they jumped to my most streamed artist for May on Apple Music) and just want to hear more about the process of creating this record and the corresponding visuals. It's never enough.
Working West Coast hours might mean I give a little fib to get out of work early because I really don't want to miss End It or Big Boy.
Last full length Zane I watched like this was for One More Time. That worked out pretty fucking well for my ears.
Also, some bonkers reviews, including the rare KKKKK from Kerrang. Album review: Turnstile – NEVER ENOUGH | Kerrang! https://www.brooklynvegan.com/turnstile-never-enough-album-review/ Review: Turnstile's Inspired Hardcore Impressionism "Hardcore's answer to Nirvana's Nevermind." Turnstile's Never Enough is a landmark record for alternative music and an instant, undeniable classic
" 'Magic Man'. A song that asks what Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf” riff would sound like in Turnstile’s hands? " too hyped for whatever this song is
