I don’t see how you can be a turnstile fan in any capacity and not enjoy birds at the very least.

I dig the bass line on Seeing Stars but Birds is more of what we’re all here for

Seein stars I really enjoy. Birds is fine, kind of run of the mill for them

 

Honestly, I think that’s the issue; these songs sound like GLOW ON b-sides.

I mean, let’s be honest: “Never Enough” is “Mystery,” and “Birds” is “Don’t Play.” Same structures, tempos, and riffs. It reeks of “We have GLOW ON at home, Mom.”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still looking forward to the album, but I guess I expected more after such a long wait.

The production on Seein' Stars is spectacular. I love both songs tbh.

 

Both songs rock

 

making proper use of that second screen. These singles feel like a deepening and tightening of what they did with glow on. Love birds. the art direction is immaculate. The birds video caught the vibe perfectly. Sufficiently hyped for this album and fine if these are the last singles prior to release.

Rad Brendan produced the album and directed the videos. Can you imagine if he started a label and found bands, produced, and did art direction?

 

Sick sick sick sick, no one does it like Turnstile do, 3 completely different songs that I know are going to fit seamlessly in the full album, pure art

 

Enjoyed both for different reasons. Hell yeah Turnstile
