Big oof - appreciate the heads up!

 

On a positive note, I mentioned earlier Turnstile is my son's favorite band (shut up about your kid!) and I'm glad Meg is in the band. She seems like a dope guitar player and I'm glad Turnstile is so diverse in race/gender so he grows up knowing anyone can kill it in a huge rock band.

I played Glow On for my son last night and got a very cute video of him dancing to it. To be fair he’ll dance to almost anything but this one was especially fun.

 

My son has loved Glow On since he was... probably about a year old. He's 4 now and "plays" my guitar and sings Mystery every time he picks it up. It's amazing.

Yeah, I like the song, but am not blown away. But I'm not thinking it's the whole preview sound of the album, or the definitive first single. It's just a new song from them, and it's solid, but the whole album is what it's about.

I think this is going to be one of those nicer tracks that makes the wild stuff sound even wilder.

My OG pink Glow On is one of my most valuable records so I jumped on this today and yeah… I’m also surprised it isn’t all gone yet!

 

I just don’t preorder stuff anymore. If it’s something I expect to be in my top 10 at the end of the year, I’ll get it from my local shop. It’s too expensive without also paying the crazy shipping rates they’re charging.

 

It’s fine, really does just feel like “mystery” but slower

 

Eh I don’t know many bands that will sell out of 13k records in one day especially with an indie store variant and an unknown amount of that burnt orange

 

I hear ya, I just remember glow on being sold out for like a year til they repressed

Never Enough is cool. Im more interested in it as an opener than a song, though.
