Now I have a gang vocals call and response of “no more tickets available” “add ticket to cart!” stuck in my head, vaguely same tune as Never Enough verses
That final blurred date fucking has to be Baltimore/MD right? Unreal that they have not played here besides the park show before the album came out
One of the more annoying (but not actually consequential) outcomes of Covid is that companies have decided they can continue to forever just say “supply chain issues” like it’s a free pass when really it means “we didn’t plan this correctly”
Turnstile show in Toronto is in danger of being cancelled, they’ve only moved 3,500 tickets for a 10k venue. All tickets are GA and are priced at $150 CAD, 30% more than any other date on their tour. I understand the costs of putting on a GA show in a public park, but those prices are just insane for this genre.
same, it’s crazy bc last summer Turnstile had Mannequin Pussy and Speed opening the first leg of the tour and tickets in Buffalo at an all GA venue were $48. I know Toronto is a bigger market but that’s insane to raise prices over 100% for a show thats an hour away, also they booked very weak support for that date (Yves Tumor) compared to the rest of the dates.
Toronto tickets in general have gotten pretty expensive the last few years. I’m curious to see if the new resale law has any effect on the way shows are priced going forward
seems like cheaper seats are selling quicker for all the big shows and the expensive premium tickets are sitting unsold bc brokers don’t have the ability to make money off of them.
