More hearings details here, and I'm baffled by the judge's decision in 2022!? I feel like this could have been prevented had the justice system not failed the band back then Turnstile feared ex-guitarist years before attempted murder arrest, audio reveals
I’ll tell you what is sick: They are a fucking BAND. Playing with pedals and amps and things sound different than the record. It’s not sloppy but it’s not perfect either. It’s so human and they also look like the coolest fuckers out. This band is just sick. Point blank PERIOD. This sounds like the most old man take ever but IDGAF
In a time when this is NOT the norm, this is 100% worth noting and celebrating. Us old heads can be cynical and say “yeah, that’s how you be a band” but they stick out because they play with the functions within their band that are exciting. They aren’t concerned with recreating the album live. Perfection is never the goal.
I just got an older coworker into Turnstile and his eyes just lit right up, he grew up in the SoCal punk scene of the 80s and was talking to me about how new bands didn't get him excited anymore, and it feels like it's all been done before, and I was like.... Lemme send you a few videos... After the 4-song GLOW ON music video he was hooked and then I showed him BIRDS and he was over the moon
as a jam bad guy…yeah man! love when a band thinks of their live show as as much a part of their art as the recorded stuff
