The way that's worded unintentionally makes it sound like he's admitting the statements he's made about Turnstile aren't true.
Brady has never come across as the sharpest knife in the drawer, that’s for sure. Guy seems like a lot
I don’t know what he expected. He had an opportunity with a new band and used it to publicly and very loudly trash his former bandmates right away… talk about bad press
It’s about time I buy this sucker on wax. Had been holding off, but I find myself returning to this a lot more than Glow On. I think Glow On has higher highs at some points, but I really dig Never Enough as a whole album. So glad I was introduced to them through blink’s 2023 tour and I’m jealous of all those got to witness them in a small room leading up to that.
It’s astounding to me how seemingly grounded the members of turnstile are going from being a direct support / opener band to one of the biggest bands in music over the last 5/6 years. It takes a massive psychological toll I’m sure. I hope this dude gets some help. He’s obviously a super talented musician and probably going through it big time rn.
In case people on this thread weren't aware, Turnstile's "Look Out For Me" was featured in a key scene of Scream 7 that hit theaters over the weekend.
Melissa Barrera was fired from Scream 7 for being pro-Palestine, so no one should be giving those that made that film any money.
Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have too much of a say tbh. IIRC, the band doesn't usually have too much say in where music gets licensed. Someone more knowledgeable on this topic might be able to chime in.
typically labels retain the rights to license out songs, and in many cases artists don't get approval, but it comes down to the individual deals and contracts. Many times it is contractual that the artist has to approve usage.
Go see Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie if you want a Turnstile needle drop in a film that's actually good
With an artist of Turnstile's size it's unlikely they're directly reviewing and approving these things. They probably authorize their management or someone else in their camp to handle it.
