Hazen Street was aiming for a more mainstream hardcore sound that Turnstile has perfected.

Wow I haven't heard the name Hazen Street in a very long time

 

I was scouring the internet for an AP interview they did saying this was an opportunity to bring hardcore to the masses.

Turnstile is doing that.

 

I should revisit that album I suppose!

I'm currently reading the book Sellout, and I'm actually shocked by how extreme the punk scene took "selling out" back in the 90s/00s. They would've tore Turnstile to shreds for this back then haha

 

I believe Militarie Gun got an even bigger check than them signing to the big leagues. Hardcore is big right now (again).

Well I’ve seen different times listed in various places so I came here to ask since nothing is clear and one of the last times I went to this venue I missed the opener because of conflicting times posted. It was just a simple genuine question.
