Just watched the Outbreak fest set. I don't think it's a stretch to wonder if we'll look back at them as one of the most important heavy bands of the 2020s.

 

Saw them tonight. Better than I could have ever imagined

 

Surprised this thread isn't active about the Turnstile opening for Blink rumor yet. Massive step for the band.

 

It’d be a really great opportunity for sure. Feels pretty logical for where Turnstile is at in their career. Still pretty convinced Tom tweeting about them was the perfect primer for them to finally blow up last year once the Glow On rollout started

so it’ll be like Pop Disaster tour for em but instead of getting outplayed by their headlining partners they’ll get outplayed by their opener

Yeah who cares about Blink. They’re literally on tour with Snail Mail, Jpegmafia, and a show with Fiddelhead. Absolutely insane tour

 

Uhm, I'm sure they care considering Jason said in the Paramore thread they asked for more money per show than he makes a year.

Sorry but this current tour with Peggy and Snail Mail is way more interesting than a tour with Blink lol, even if Tom is rejoining and it will be a bigger opportunity for them.

 

Yeah I'm not disagreeing, but the Blink tour is much more important for growth (new fanbase, more $). Wasserman doing a hell of a job managing them the last few years between these fun tours like they're currently on and growth opportunities.

 

The venue they’re playing in buffalo next month is absolutely tiny for their popularity level currently, can’t wait.

 

blink is literally one of my three least favorite bands ever but y’all are beyond brain wormed if you think their current tour is better for the band

Not to mention, if there’s a reason the Blink tour wouldn’t be huge for Turnstile it’s not because they’re currently touring with JPEG and Snail Mail. It’d be because they’ve played every late night gig possible in the last year and bro down with people like Dua Lipa
