Uhh ceremony sucks

 

I have little to no interest in Ceremony or Citizen

 

Cowbells in the Fallon perfomance are way too low

 

the last citizen album is really good actually, give it a spin.

 

Never cared for citizen until the new album. It absolutely rules.

 

I find that hard to say since their sound has changed so much. Do you mean old Ceremony sucks? I like it all but their newer stuff is way better to me.

Citizen rules. Roam the Room is an all timer for me. Have seen them many times over the last decade. Their live shows have consistently gotten better. The brothers (twins?, I don’t remember) are a cheat code. Mat is a great front man. Had a great crowd reception at the Cleveland show last week.

I’m biased since they’re from Toledo. 1.5 hour drive from where I’m from. Cleveland is a close-to hometown city.

 

2022 is like a decade late to see ceremony unless they’re doing a full album show from early stuff. rohnert park is as good as hardcore gets. i get why they’re on this tour though, they kinda laid some groundwork for turnstile as a crossover success

 

Looking at the Ceremony setlist, it seems pretty comprehensive of their discography. I’m definitely more partial to their last two records than the earlier stuff but would not be mad at seeing Open Head live

i was talking about this with a coworker (whom I introduced them to Turnstile btw) and I pointed out with them doing 3 of the biggest late night shows now, it certainly seems they’re on the path to playing SNL, which blows my mind.

Fingers crossed they’re on there this fall! I can already see the SNL promo shots in my head LOL. I just want this milestone for them so much.

Has any sports stadium been playing Turnstile? I could def see it at hockey arenas, but was curious about the NBA or MLB. Obviously, they would play something off Glow On, but canned heat during a 30-second timeout at an NBA game would be sick.

 

The Mets should absolutely make a hype video with "BLACKOUT" for their Friday night home games with the black jerseys.

I’ve heard Mystery and Holiday during NHL playoff games, can’t remember which arenas

 

They played Holiday during the 7th inning stretch at an O’s game I went to a few weeks ago.

 

My gf's dad was looking for something to put on this weekend at a family gathering. I glanced over at his phone and saw the album art of what he was pulling up.
