Stuff from this year that I like that a Turnstile fan might like: -Drug Church -Money -Dull Mourning -Squint -Feverchild -Prize Horse -Bleed -EXCIDE -Foreign Hands -Anxious -Militarie Gun
I mean it’s not 2022 and a different side of hardcore but I’ve been listening to a lot of Knocked Loose. Specifically their latest EP.
Anyone want my black copy of GLOW ON for $50 shipped? Is been opened and spun a few times, but it’s in great shape.
So, they were fucking incredible. I hadn't seen them since they toured Nonstop Feeling so it was amazing to hear all the new songs live. Seeing them destroy a headliner like this and with all the hype/TV performances, I feel like they still have a lot of upward trajectory.
Yeah last night was my first experience seeing them and it did not disappoint. Even with the palladium being packed in like a can of sardines and not having the greatest view I still had a fucking blast jamming out to them. Been waiting forever to hear Glow On live.
It was so packed and so damn hot lol. Luckily I found a decent spot for Citizen and Turnstile. Definitely felt some pandemic anxiety though, not a lot of masks in the crowd.
Listen I've been to the Palladium probably 30 times through the years although not since the new ownership. Definitely the hottest that venue has ever been. The only more insane crowd I've seen there was Vanna's DVD shoot in 2011 and The Chariot played that show it's not really fair to compare. Used to be way back then they would sell floor seats separately, it really makes that room fucking rock when it's all GA. I love a show where you're just fighting for your life to stay upright on the floor and this certainly delivered lol
fwiw I was masked on the floor :) one guy was like do u rly think that helps?????? and i said idk! but your sweat isn't flying into my mouth so it can't hurt
Me too now mostly. Couldn't avoid it with Turnstile. You had to be at the literal back or sides of the venue. Crowd was wild. Funny that is the experience at every venue! I also think the show itself was oversold. There were no gaps at all in the crowd. Front to back - side to side. This was in Toronto. The last time I saw this venue in Toronto this rowdy was actually a The Chariot set probably 15 years ago. Entire floor was a circle pit. One those fear for your life sets lol
