I’m in a rental car without CarPlay and forgot to setup Bluetooth so I’m radio surfing…and Mystery just came on.
5k for sure. They sold out a 2k theater in CLE over 3 months in advance. Last time they had maybe 300 people lol
i'm gonna say maybe - i want to say yes but I hope they don't just sort of disappear. a lot of the hype for them in the mainstream will eventually fizzle as people move on to the next big thing, but i hope they are able to stick around and stay this big.
I honestly wonder if it will be something completely bonkers like opening for RHCP when their new album comes out.
Pretty sure that tour already has openers. Haim and someone else. I’m thinking MCR or Paramore if they tour around WWWY fest.
10k would be a bit insane - that isn’t far from, like, arena numbers. but yeah, 5k seems very reasonable soon
I think they also have to keep venturing further away from their classic hardcore sound in order to do it. Mystery and anything from Glow On had the biggest reaction out of anything they played here on Sunday
It's a goal of mine to run across the stage when they play Portland in May (if that's allowed by the tour setup). I really want to experience something that cool one time before they're playing bigger venues, where the stage isn't accessible anymore.
But the real question is where’s the vinyl repress? Didn’t know about this band until Glow On had been out for a bit and I completely missed it
Flying out to see them at the Metro last year seemed really dumb at the time but I'm glad I got one last no barricade experience with them
Their show in Syracuse on the 2017 run supporting The Story So Far was bonkers. 500 cap room, bodies flying everywhere
