Thanks for posting this. I like this design better, it's half the cost and I didn't have to fight to buy it.
The island beats all over this record fit so damn well with the hardcore vibe going on. Never woulda thought that could work.
I don’t understand why anyone would like this album DESPITE not liking their stuff before. Turnstile were always good lol I mean this is better, like a lot, but it’s still Turnstile. Am I Crazy?
You’re definitely not crazy. Musically it’s still along the same lines as their other records, but with a lot of new elements. Still very much the same band.
This record just kicks so much ass. This and The Armed in the same year. My gym playlist is as good as it’s ever been.
I think it is much cleaner from a production standpoint, and Brendan is using less harsh vocals and more melody than ever. But yeah, Time and Space is basically a slightly more aggressive and less varied version of this.
yeahhhh, I just watched Ronald McDonald's review.... - He had to dig prettttyyy deep to point out any "negatives". - I giggled when he mentioned 311.
Honestly, I’m just happy to see people getting into Turnstile. I’ve been a fan for years and it’s awesome seeing the enthusiasm from people.
I really liked the first two but this is a serious step up. Finally got that vinyl ordered. I think. Unless it was oversold.
Yeah, I went ahead and ordered that black vinyl that was shared with me yesterday in here. Hoping it actually ships.
Yeah I think this record rules but all 3 rule and I wouldn't say this a major change, anyone who likes this would also like the last 2 imo But this always happens with people like P4k and Ronald McDonald hopping into trends after shitting on old releases lol
Brenden is not only a great frontman but an awesome creative director for the band when it comes to their overall (for lack of a better word) aesthetic. It only feeds into the success they’re seeing with Glow On When a band has a specific style that makes them stand out - it only furthers success/outreach.
