Yeah I’d venture to say most people had no idea they even played new songs because they didn’t even mention they were new which I thought was a bit strange.
Totally agree. At the show I saw, they barely spoke at all after the PV songs and were not helping the vibe whatsoever. It's very possible they're just over it, touring is rough and all, but it seemed like they could have helped people want to stick around by hyping up the songs a little or just having any amount of energy for them.
I don't necessarily think they're over it, I just think they are over trying to please the PV only crowd. But it'll be interesting to see how this next album cycle goes
One last thought: I could go to a Turnover show and just watch them play Cutting My Fingers Off 15 times in a row and I'd leave perfectly happy.
Oh shit its starting already? Figured it'd be a fall release but Basement spring into Turnover summer could be awesome
They did 'leak' two songs during the PV tour and they're much better than all of Myself in the Way imo
PV and GN are 1a and 1b for me, and the rest have good songs but it’s overall been diminishing returns. Would love to be proven wrong this time around.
Peripheral Vision Altogether Myself in the Way [Blue Dream] Good Nature Magnolia [S/T + Citizen split] Good Nature would be significantly higher if you just excised tracks 8-10, the most slight tracks they have ever released.

Damn was not expecting this to be out within the month, good shit edit: tracks are a nice sweet spot between PV and GN, should definitely make the people begging for PVII happy. Deeper vocal effect (assuming its an effect) on I See You and Realize are an interesting move, reminds me a bit of Wicca Phase.
my expectations are tempered because the last one was Not My Thing but i saw a lot of people say the new songs they played on the PV tour felt like a return to form. we'll see!
