Tonight was great. 10,000 people for a Turnover headliner was an experience considering some of the rooms I’ve seen them in the last 12 years
Legitimately very sad I was at the function with @FTank and @dylan and didn’t check back into the thread to know it. Great show though
Evidently some folks came away from the show last night with CDs containing studio versions of the two new songs they’ve been playing. So I guess we’ll probably see those online at some point soon
I got the new tracks but won’t be able to upload them until later tonight. I don’t believe Yip produced these?
Good! There’s some PV in these tracks for sure. If someone can send me their email, I can email you the tracks and you can be in charge of uploading them lol
oh dang these are nice, reminds me of the Humblest Pleasures sound a bit. Always wanted them to follow that sound a bit more after that EP.
Don't think it's Will Yip, at Red Rocks they said their front of house engineer did the new album. Can't recall his name but they shouted him out
wish the deluxe included the alt I Would Hate You and the Blue Dream EP but nonetheless nice to be reminded what an album this is
thought my headphones were starting to die when the bridge of the new Take My Head hit lol I don't think these reworks are great but it's nice to have them anyway and cool how they all flow together
those new songs actually have me quite optimistic as someone who truly hated the last album. feels like they've finally embraced the PV sound without it feeling like a regression
Good to hear they’re gonna back to the PV sound, last album really didn’t hold up for me very much because it was just so slow and vague. Speaking of PV, been listening to the reissued version and I’ve come to find the alternative takes of Cutting My Fingers Off and Humming to be more interesting than the studio versions imo.
