Yep, for some reason Good Nature is kind of an early summer/late spring record for me. Peripheral Vision is fall for sure though
I only accepted matty's disagreement. The rest of ya'll can catch me in the rage cage for a showdown.
I don’t think I’ve had any interest in returning to this album. It was so boring, and then I saw them play most the songs live and they were potentially the least enjoyable band I’ve ever seen live.
I go back and forth on which I think is better, but I definitely listen to GN more, though it definitely blends way more than their other releases. That said, shiver is still their best song.
I’ll still take PV, but they’re both amazing. PV hit me at just the right time and probably will never be topped, but I couldn’t be happier with GN as a follow up.
their live shows really do seem unexciting. i understand why they wouldn’t want to play older material, but it’d be refreshing. maybe even cave in and play sasha every now and then lol i too am team PV
I think the new material is easier on his voice. When they were playing the older material, his voice was always burning out.
At work a few months ago I was playing Turnover and this customer said she loved them and that I should play Sasha. I just kinda laughed but inside I was like "excuse me? you dont choose the music here. Wait is this how Turnover feels when they get asked to play this every night? Now I know how they feel." Anyways I did not play Sasha.
PV>GN but I fell in love with PV from the very first time I heard New Scream and it was the record that helped me get through my upperclassman years in college. I have too many important moments attached to it tbh. GN still has some jams on it thought!
