okay, just got through curiosity. what an album so far. glad to see any remnants of pop punk are gone, the lyrics were still pretty pop punk on the last album, but this one is much much better in that dept.

 

oo breeze is nice.

 

on living small... man, this album is so good. im not going to compare to PV (probably my favorite album of the last two years) but this does not disappoint at all.

 

Pure devotion is one of those songs that can wreck you in the first few seconds of hearing the opening chords

 

is that the Jay-Z/Eminem mashup album?

Butterfly Dream is Turnover doing Turnover things perfectly.

 

Y'all are killing me, I was going to wait but I'm not sure I can.

 

Quality is good, it's worth checking out early as long as you support the record when it's officially released

 

I really need to check this site on Sunday nights... I would have loved to listen to this at work today lol

 

This record actually reminds me of The Hotelier releasing Goodness as a follow up to HLNPIT. Not that the two bands are similar at all – I'm talking specifically about the change in mood from one record to the next

 

I just finished my first listen. The second half really started blending together for me and I lost focus on it. I'm definitely going to have to listen to this a few more times before it really clicks I think, but on first listen, but I like this a lot more than I expected I would! I hope I end up loving it as much as PV.

 

Very excited to check this out later this afternoon. I put on PV in the car on the way to work this morning and forgot how much some of those songs in the first half really groove.

 

Not sure this is for me. Kind of bored with it and thought it blended together a little too much

I will definitely give it some more spins though. Definitely could be a grower for me

Since they dropped the closer then I'm just gonna listen to the whole thing when I get home, would rather not hear a closer without hearing the rest of the record and I know I won't be able to have the self control with this

 

Yup gona hold off on this. Will be a good practice of self-control lol

 

Have the vinyl preordered. I'm not waiting until the release day to hear it.

 

Butterfly Dream and Curiosity have been stuck in my head all day, such great melodies

 

These 2 and Breeze are the initial standouts for me.

 

Album is perfect for this great autumn weather in Minneapolis


Also Butterfly Dream is the first one where I'm like WHOA I LOVE THIS

 

Yup, loving all the songs everyone has mentioned, i'll add Living Small onto the list.

 

Best run on the record is probably Super Natural-Bonnie (Rhythm & Melody).
