Starring Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Mark Duplass, and Ron Livingston. Written by Diablo Cody.

Reitman's been on a bit of a downswing the last few years, but reteaming with Cody and Theron I think could really be a return to form for him.

From what I understand Men Women and children is a good book?

It is ironic; Young Adult was his least bad film but it was the one when people started to abandon him.

Didn't this come out a few months ago?

Edit: nevermind, I'm thinking of Sully.

I'm already in. At this point, I avoid trailers. The teaser was enough for me.

I saw the teaser in the theater and seeing Mackenzie Davis is in this might be worth it.

Mackenzie Davis is enough to get me to see this.

This also applies to Juno and Ricki And The Flash right

I think you mean Young Adult... hoping this movie is sort of a comeback for both

I'm choosing to believe it applies to every Diablo Cody movie

Is this out in select markets today? or did it get pushed back to 5/4 everywhere?

This was really good. Theron and McKenzie have great chemistry. Cody does a great job of balancing her quirks with an honest conversation about post partum depression. Can’t say enough good things about this.

Saw it a couple days ago, and yeah, this was a lot better than I was expecting. Wasn't thinking a Reitman film would be one of my favorite of '18 so far (especially after how treacherous Men, Women, & Children was), but I loved the majority of this

once the end was revealed, everything kinda clicked and made me appreciate it more. prior to that i was on the fence. pretty solid overall, that predictably the characters outside of the main two are pretty weak

god I love Diablo Cody, I love the moments you know she wrote this like the fact that she knows all about Gigolos or the fact that her road trip soundtrack is She's So Unusual
I also really felt the line "if I had a dream job and failed to get it I'd be mad at the world but I'm just mad at myself for not having one" or whatever it was
of course a movie where Charlize sings Call Me Maybe is a mood for me
I love that they never explained Sara's cat ears
I'm still not sure about Jonah, it was mostly handled well I guess, and I know her calling him the r word was just frustration over having a kid on the spectrum

I dont know guys, I just saw this and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It was pretty bad, boring, and even the ending I was just like oh ok thats it??
