TTNG - Disappointment Island (July 8, 2016) Album

Would be pretty excited to hear something new from them. Saw they were doing funky stuff with their facebook but didn't look to much into it.

 

Pretty sure they played at least 1 new song when they played with The World Is and Foxing. Very excited to hear a new LP

 

p sure they played two, real short set though sadly

looking fwd to this - I don't know them very well bur there are some songs I really enjoy

Who do these guys sound like? I'm into a few math bands "MuteMath" "Maps & Atlases" "Enemies"

 

twinkly mathy music, instrumentally closer to enemies or early maps and atlases but more technical and unconventional arrangements, and with higher pitched vocals. don't think mutemath is a mathrock band at all, really, haha. but these guys are pretty much the epitome of modern math rock

 

God I love this band so much.

 

So ready for a new album from these guys. Didn't even know they were working on new material.

 

They played a bunch of new stuff on the Foxing TWIABP tour

 

Neat. I haven't been to a show in a while. Tool was the last show I went to (which was actually earlier this year).

Will always refer to them as This Town Needs Guns. Even have them in my library like that.
