apparently they said the setting a while back, but when I looked it up on Google Earth it seemed like a pretty small wildlife area so I'm not sure how that's gonna work...

oh. my bad. I wasn't calling NYC a small wildlife area - I had read that it was set in Jamaica Bay, NY

not knowing anything about the place at all, it was a pretty evocative name. but then I googled it.
