this is worse than s2 unless they stick the landing in a way shows like this often don’t

 

Still got it ahead of season 2. I’m still entertained.

 

I don't think there's any way it can be better than season 2 for me at this point. The last episode was easily the best so far though.

 

Yeah but it was used in the best video game trailer of all time so

 

finale is 1hr20mins

 

Ooookay okay maybe they’re cooking

 

i doubt it since the other episodes have been an hour and only five minutes of interesting activity

 

Really thought after the end of episode 4 this could take off but nope. Sigh. I’m trying to thing of mediocre shows that had great finales

Leftovers S1

 

Ah that’s a good one

 

Leftovers S1 is great! The rest is just even better

 

But it’s true, maybe not mediocre but from S1 finale on it goes from Pretty good to one of the best shows of all time

 

I hope this season ends with a somber version of Curb Your Enthusiasm’s, “Frolic.”

 

Leftovers is one my fav shows of all time, but S1 was an absolute slog. It’s only tolerable to watch for me now because I know what the foundation leads to.

 

ngl I've liked this season less and less each week, prepared for the worst going into the finale

 

season 1 is the best season of the leftovers

 

Leftovers s1 has like three incredible episodes and a bunch of alright. anything with Tommy and Christine is borderline unwatchable

 

Any episode of The Leftovers described as borderline unwatchable

It's a masterpiece.

 

I described a sub-plot as unwatchable not an episode! I consider the last two seasons, especially the last one as basically masterworks but it doesn't change the Holy Wayne shit being very bad

 

I know I'm in the minority here but I find season 1 to be just as good as 2 and 3. It's much more depressing but I still found it to be an incredible watch. It def picks up in the second half but the first half had me going “what the fuck is going on?” after every episode haha

 

I kinda hate the ending of the leftovers to be honest.
