The fact that that's the basic premise of the show and it's bad is the disappointing thing. I urge anyone to go back and watch Season 1 after this. Completely different levels in quality. And I get it's an anthology show but there should be similar levels of theme, tension, atmosphere and just general 'feeling' to connect them.
The flashback from ep4 of Danvers and Navarro at the scene of that murder/suicide…is Danvers implying that they both saw a spirit which told them to kill the abusive guy?
I wouldn't say its the only good part but it's definitely more fun than anything that's happened in season 4.
Shows been decent but not great, also probably biased because of the Native American representation in the show also.
I definitely preferred the quick shot last week of that domestic murder and them alluding to shooting him for revenge. Instead this week that she saw a ghost so did it
I just took it as Danvers wanting some, any explanation for what happened to cause Navarro to kill him because it seems like she was her protégé and despite her very much not believing in ghosts/the afterlife/etc, she'd love for something to be there to have caused Navarro to do it.
Yes my explanation is also always it must have been a ghost instead of anything more logical or understandable like frustration/anger No I think there has to be something else there, like she knows about whatever curse was alluded to and a history of seeing things like that
Well I think the other part of it is she obviously saw Navarro responding to something she was seeing. She said something like "you look just like you did that time, like you saw something" or something like that to her
the funniest part of the season so far is Rose saying in episode two "don't confuse the supernatural for mental illness" and literally everything in the season so far is up to question whether it’s the supernatural or the character imagining it lol
This episode was definitely the best one yet. Outside of the corny jump-scare moments, it really did give me s1 vibes. They’re overusing the spiral symbol though, seriously. And no idea how they’re gonna wrap it all up in two hours. Anyone know why Navarro’s ear was bleeding?
the guys at tsalal when they were found had ruptured ear drums as well, so its just most likely a sign she is gonna be next is how I took it.
Since all the popsicles had ruptured eardrums, I assume that Navarro is gonna get a taste for skin soon.
That question and those answers just made me realize that she saw a little girl "ghost" there....that must be the "she" everyone's referring to. So "she" made their ears bleed and now Navarro's.
wrt actual commentary, this episode should have been episode 3 or something, they’re retracing a lot of the plot points over and over without too much character development. I’m enjoying this season, but it feel like now we’re going to speed-run these last 2 episodes, especially considering Navarros condition at the end of ep 4
Finished episode 5 of season 2 and the overall story/plot is better than I remember but the writing is so fucking bad. Just the absolute worst dialogue.
catching up on the last two weeks of this and I'm just insanely bored. no forward momentum or reason to care about anything happening at all. this is on the same level as that terrible last season of Justified
