If I had any complaint, it would be that the pairing of Foster and Reis doesn't feel nearly as compelling as the lead parings in S1 and S3. I'm pretty intrigued by the mystery though and can't wait to see where this goes.

This is alright. Not terrible. Will probably finish it . In terms of crime anthologies probably not best to air this very seemingly okayish season immediately after one of Fargo's greatest seasons ever lol. .
fargo was great until the completely maddening finale. as it stands, it’s probably the third best fargo season
I'm rewatching season 1 and it feels like a level above in terms of writing and the sense of dread. Night Country is watchable but the tone feels off to me. Season 1 had the viewer discover things with the detectives, whereas this feels like it's telling us, rather than showing. There were some really jarring needle drops too. It just never feels as 'nasty' as S1. That felt like 2 men descending into hell.
And I'm so over the need for my stories to be connected. It feels pandering and lazy. It makes the whole world feel smaller too. Ugh.
I'm digging it. I love how disorienting the constant darkness is and having to really pay attention to figure out what time of day it is. I also love The Thing and The Terror, so this was right up my alley before it even aired.
the treatment of the whit farr (primarily) and richa moorjani (secondarily) characters. basically everything at the ranch. no insight into JJL’s character who just seemed to be an oddity for the sake of being an oddity. pretty much nothing worked for me outside of the final scene, which admittedly was half the episode
Watched 2. COuld be projecting but I think the complaints most people have abotu the disjointedness/something feeling off is that this show has so far spent a lot of time showing us the relationships between a bunch of characters, and yet at the same time I feel like I know virtually nothing about the relationships between these characters. That's my biggest complaint. Truly can't tell what the hell is going on with Danvers family and living situation, outside of her husband and kid seemingly being killed in a drunk driving accident. I think her daughter is her stepdaughter, and I think her deputy is the stepson of the dude cop, but why is his wife and kid living with Danvers, and her grandmother is there too? Danvers and Prior, Danvers and Matt Jamison Doctor Who, etc etc etc. Just feels very disjointed on all these relationships. Everything else I am completely IN. The story is creepy, that screaming dude at the beggining jfc (though not sure why that wasn't addressed at all after that--was that who was in the hospital getting an amputation or whatever? I guess), and I am completely okay and in on any and all connections to the cult from Season 1, and I don't give a shit that Travis may be Rustin's dad. I say go for it, i love it. edit-nvm on the living situation, i was just confused by Danvers daughter going to the deputy’s house instead of their own
Really loving this still after watching the second episode. Qavvik continues to be my favorite. If he dies, I will be very sad.
Somebody get Qavvik his damn toothbrush back! Also that sex scene was hilarious this week. Matt Jamison fighting for his life there
Cool mystery, but man this looks like shit, and the side character acting is rooooughhhh. Not that their writing is doing any favors.
Christopher Eccleston Says ‘A-List Actress’ Accused Him of ‘Copping a Feel’ While Filming Sex Scene: ‘It Was an Abuse of Power, What She Did’ Super click baity headline to drop after this episode. I was about to be like what
that's really bizarre considering I'm sure he gets a paycheck for being an executive producer on the season
