The other day I saw a clip from a livestream he did recently (looked like maybe TikTok? I didn't get a live notification from IG) where he played a longer clip, like he did before releasing Take Yourself Home. Can't waitttt.

$30 seems like a lot for an EP (that doesn't ship until October??). But also, four years ago I spent $60 on Troye candles that I still haven't burned because I love them so much, so idk why I'm even complaining.

Troye is easily one of my favorite current musicians, something about his brand of pop is so well crafted and sounds unlike anyone else

 

Agreed. All his music just sounds so unique and good. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't "blown up" yet like Billie has, or even "broken through" and become a big name like Halsey, Kesha, Gaga, Ed Sheeran, etc.

Edit: I know he still has a large following and all but still.

 

he's totally right on the cusp. My My My was HUGE in a medium way, if that make sense haha. He's totally broken into the pop sphere overall, but not quite mainstream

 

Wow I just heard “Easy” for the first time and it’s easily the best thing he’s put out. I’ve always thought his stuff was solid but this song is incredibly exciting.

 

Agreed! I listened to nothing but this song for days. ....until folklore came out.

 

All these new songs are so good, probably my favorite songs I've heard from him so far. (But I also need to revisit Bloom)

 

Yeah all these EP tracks are so great. I’m feeling very inclined to give Bloom another spin soon.

 

Bloom is GOAT, was my favorite album that year

 

I def prefer the record stuff to this new stuff but it’s all pretty good
