Huge Trophy Eyes kick these past two days. The last two albums remind me of old 30 Seconds To Mars. Might be the vocals. But I throughly enjoy the albums.
I didn't realize the band, the venue and promoter, are being sued by Bird. It's still active. I wonder what the outcome will be. Probably a settlement.
The result is this band probably never touring in the US again and I wouldn’t be shocked if they call it a day.
Just speculation based on the fact that it would be a pretty terrible idea for any venue to trust the band to create a safe environment and a lawsuit like this has to be financially devastating to any band/business.
Mohawk Place shut down shortly after (unrelated) and reopened in October since this happened. I think they received regional historic preservation status.
They’ve been playing handfuls of shows in Aus this year, I know the singer is writing/recording some solo stuff but haven’t seen anything regarding future material for the band.
