When we needed them most... they appeared right on time.

 

yessss!!!! i love how much quality music they put out, one of the most consistent bands out there. can't wait!

 

I don't know how they are so frequent and consistent with their releases but I'm not going to complain. I will forever love this band and I'm as excited as ever for them to deliver the sort of quality music that they always do.

The announcement is making me want to go through another discography run, and I realized this banger, the first song I've ever heard from them back then, came out 9 years ago yesterday.

Time flies, but it still sounds so fresh. Wild that they've released so many albums since. They just don't stop!

Merchbar randomly has THE on vinyl for sale with free shipping (in November). Just placed an order, worth a shot. They have AND as well but I already have it. I wish I could find the Potage 7-inch somewhere (my favorite Tricot song)

I have everything except Bakuretsu tricot san on vinyl. Really wish they would press these later records but it just seems not meant to be anymore. Might order myself the CD/Blu-Ray versions from Japan for the holidays.

I never posted in here despite being tagged, but let's gooooooo!

 

Just listened to the song they dropped on the fifth, I think it's called Aquarium - might be the first tricot song ever I don't love? I like some of the guitar work, the drums are killer, and the mix is great but the vocals seem really rough/pitchy on a first listen. Especially when she reaches for the high notes.

 

I just listened to my first song from this band and I'm excited to dive into the entire discography now.

 

You're in for a treat, it's all so good.
