Probably the biggest hip-hop release of the year (that we know of), for better or for worst. Coming out this week alongside a film, Circus Maximus, against Post Malone's Austin.
I actually preferred the visuals (which were still mostly underwhelming) but I'm not a huge Travis fan tbf. Gaspar Noe and Harmony Korine are what interested me. I also have AMC Alist so I went and watched The Haunted Mansion and then iust jumped into Circus Maximus afterwards.
Maybe I'm not the right person to ask. Looked online a little just now and people seem to be enjoying it.
Features: Swae Lee on “Sirens” Drake on “Meltdown” Playboi Carti on “Fien” Beyonce on “Delresto (Exhoes)” 21 Savage on “Topia Twins” Westide Gunn & James Blake on “Lost Forever” The Weeknd on “Looove” Bad Bunny & The Weeknd on “K-Pop” Future on “Telekinesis” 21 Savage & James Blake on “Till Further Notice”
Okay, in addition to production from West and Dean and similar features (Bon Iver), "God's Country" and "Telekinesis" are literally Kanye demos so I'm not far off lol This is not for me, but "Lost Forever" rules.
Meltdown is my favorite so far Fein is great. Looove is cool too, even if it feels like Kanye West - Fade part 2
There’s A LOT going on here, feels very messy and very much indebted to Yeezys/Pablo era Kanye. Not terrible by any means, at least it’s not the appropriation cosplay Post puts out.
The album is fine? It almost sounds too much like Kanye at times to the point that it detracts from the overall album.
