What do the Police have to do with Travis Barker? Is he doing a pop-punk album with Sting or something? Bummer that he has COVID. Hope he’s okay.
3 pages of people saying “how Is this news?” Bruv so far has gotten 3 pages for the sniffles. That’s quality news posting if I was the editor-in-chief
Wait until he finds out his son actually wants to be an FBI agent or work for the DOJ. Then he’ll think his son sucks too.
It’s only the heads of the DOJ and the FBI that are corrupt. Not the actual agents. More extremism…makes it easier to laugh off comments like this.

I’m all about not being an extremist. Yes there are bad cops. Doesn’t mean all cops are bad. Life isn’t black and white.
man I'm so fucking tired of hearing that argument "not all cops are bad." the police system has consistently proven to be systemically corrupt and they're all to blame. time and time again police show that they have a monopoly on violence that they use to protect capital and nothing else. get the fuck out of here
Yup. All cops are bad is extreme. All cops are good is extreme. I’m saying there are some bad cops but not all cops are bad. Lol
Yikes. Someone doesn’t live in the real world. If you can blame everyone who is part of an organization because there are bad people in charge you are sick in the head.
bruh, give the kid a chance. He’s not even sentient yet, given that he hasn’t figured out how garbage weird his father is and ran away to live at his local punk house.
You know, I’m just sitting here thinking about the research supporting the intergenerational cycle of violence theory, which suggests that abusive adults likely experienced violence in their childhood, and the research that shows at least 40% of cops commit domestic violence.
I’m assuming you have no actual interest in learning about systematic corruption, etc., so I’ll just boil it down to something more simple: the admitted and public goals, training, and methods of police officers means participation in that field, by definition, shows you need to have morals and ethics completely antithetical to my own. If to do a job you need to embody and carry out actions I find to be morally abhorrent, yes you are bad. The not publicly stated and systematic issues, just reinforce this belief.
I’m not seeing 100% which is how all of you are reacting. Those are tragic numbers sure. Pretty unfortunate and horrible. But I’m not going to condemn all cops. That’s just…not good logic or critical thinking.
That’s an unfortunate view point. So I guess people who share your values who want to be a cop because they believe in the institution and actually want to make a difference for the better and actually do an incredible job by not participating in horrible behavior are still bad because of association? Yikes.
