A group of people deciding they wanted to live in a nostalgic but never truly real simpler time is a great reflection of what has been going on in conservative politics for decades, but it hit especially hard in the post-9/11 era where we used the threat of terrorism to try and police everything. We were telling people that if they bought marijuana from their local college student they were funding terrorism.
My bad, it's a certified classic and we should all appreciate how mind blowingly fantastic the movie is.
I hate The Mist and Zombie's Halloween 2 with every bone in my body, just truly awful films imo, but even I don't spend this much time trying to convince the people who like them that they're wrong lol
The Mist truly is awful and every time someone tells me it's one the best movies they've seen I wonder how many movies they've seen
I too love to be condescending and insufferable about a movie that's like perfectly okay and harmless lol
this is actually the only site I've ever been on where that's anything like the consensus, and even then I think it's more a very very loud minority and a silent majority situation lol. everywhere else and in real life people consider it a fine-to-good King adaptation but whatever I really don't care enough about this very harmless mid 2000s movie to stay in this annoying thread lol
Pretty fun dumb B Movie. The plot kind of fell apart in the last 30 minutes, but still enjoyed myself.
So in this scenario, the limo driver would find himself behind the wheel of a large automobile with a pyscho killer in the back?
