Transformers (Film Series) Movie

These films are going to be around forever, for better or worse.

Casting for the new film is underway.

Isabella Moner will be playing "a street-smart tomboy who grew up an orphan and was raised in foster care. She counts a small Transformer as her only friend… until she meets Wahlberg’s heroic inventor Cade Yeager."

Plus, Bay is also said to be eyeing The Artist Oscar winner Jean Dujardin and Stephen Merchant (The Office) for supporting roles.

It's shooting for June 23, 2017.

I'll join you. I liked the 1st and 3rd. The 2nd is very meh but let's go with cause the writer strike. The 4th is the absolute worst movie.

 

Started working on this today. Wheeeeeeeee.

Hey sorry, this was an insane week and I never got much of a chance to respond. Most of my time off set is spent hoping I get enough sleep. On this particular project I am just a Production Assistant. This is my third big budget film and I've done a few indies as well. There's an indie I AD'd last October that I'm really excited about called Future which has about three weeks left of audio editing and will then start making the festival rounds. I got on Transformers 5 because I worked on Batman v Superman and knew someone from that show who is now working on this. It really is all about who you know for the most part. I went to school for it and got my degree but to be honest it's a pretty worthless degree in my experience. It's all about the hustle. I do a lot of commercial shoots and make some good contacts that way as well.

This week has been filled with the level of explosions you might expect by the way.

 

Because Michael Bay.

@Garrett L. I enjoyed the third way more than I thought I would too.

Similar to the Oceans' series, the first and third are good, but the second is garbage.

 

There was one Samurai looking Transformer I saw the other day. I think it was Drift. Looked pretty cool.

 

Hadn't seen that one. Totally not going to be a stereotype.

What an odd way to do a teaser.

 

Didn't enjoy the last one as much as I did the others, but will be looking forward to checking this one out. Should be fun.

That trailer did nothing for me. Looks bad.

My thoughts exactly. They really need to move into ironic territory. Give us a slowed down cover of Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff."

 

Looks fun, highly likely to be garb. I like the visuals of transformers in other time periods. And Optimus Prime is the bad guy in this? That's kinda cool, but I honestly don't remember him dying in the last one ha.
