Get with the times man. Been following this band since they started and Jesse is a really talented individual. This record is very good.

 

I actually contributed like $20 to Jesse’s Kickstarter years back before Trade Wind/Wish You Were Here/Cold Snap. When he played under the Sleep Year moniker. Pretty sure nothing ever came out of that Kickstarter officially, but we’ve gotten all of this other music since lol

This is their best work so far as a band. They really came into their own on this one.

I wasn't able to ask Jesse some of the questions submitted, mainly because he is just an incredible passionate person and answered DEEPLY everything I asked. We chatted for about 25 minutes before he had to go, hoping to have it written and up on Substream soon.

 

He mentioned that Nashinga is his favorite on the record now, he wrote it about his dog passing. Brutally beautiful.

Not much a fan of the members' other bands, but was floored by this album. Caught me way off guard.

They were incredible last night in Anaheim. Tom’s guitar parts especially sounded on a whole other level from the records. I bought the limited shirt out of 15!

Singer/songwriter Scott Ruth opened the show and helped out on bass or keys when it was needed. He was on their Europe tour as well. I definitely recommend his music.
