just realized I already had a flexi disc of america from the preorder of the last LP lol

 

well the singles are a good indication of what this sounds like--lost in the country but pared back quite a bit imo. it kinda feels like the album that shouldve come before that one, like this shouldve been a step towards lost in the country. im a bit underwhelmed honestly after how much i loved that record

 

damn I saw Hear of Gold on there and immediately thought it was a Neil Young cover (it aint). Honestly would have fit with the vibe of these songs too.
