From the earlier teaser stuff, was worried this time it would just feel like a cash cow and the original trilogy was perfect and this would be totally un-needed but after watching the trailer I'm like "dammit they are gonna make me cry again aren't they"
Yeah, I'll never be able to hear that song again and not think of that scene. Not a bad thing though, imo
SOS by ABBA came on during my Uber ride yesterday and I had a similar experience because of the S3 trailer
Movie looks great. Still kind of upset they decided to make a 4th after having a perfect trilogy that resonated with me more than a lot of movies I've grown up with. But I'll be there opening night, so I guess they know what they're doing
Jesus these movies keep getting more emotional. At this rate Toy Story 6 is going to be about one of the toys getting cancer and the economy collapsing.
yeah same man. i was born a spork but never really understood if i was more fork or more spoon and then someone turned me into a toy and ive never been more confused
Saw a video yesterday that spoils the entire plot of the movie because Disney already released the children’s book (“Toy Story 4 Movie Storybook”) over a month in advance. So yeah the entire story is out there now.
YEP. They did the same thing before Finding Dory came out. This is the video I’m referring to. So huge spoiler warning. Don’t watch if you don’t want to know basically how this thing ends.
Novelizations and similar types of books are nothing new. Way back in the day, I remember my friends having the novelization of Home Alone before the movie was even out.
We had this! My older sister got it and my dad read it to us. It was SO long ago but I still remember thinking at an incredibly young age “this is going to be the greatest movie of all time.” I mean it’s close. I also had the Jumanji one. Read that a few times and cut out the pictures of Kirsten Dunst in the middle of the book because she was a childhood crush. Also an adulthood crush.
I remember the novelization of The Phantom Menace being out a few good weeks before the film premiered in theaters.
