Very cool to see modest mouse on an MCR date but it’s a Tuesday in DC. Doable but hard for my gf to get those days off so gonna try for Detroit which is one of my favorite cities in the country or LA because we’re planning an LA and Mexico City trip for next October anyway! Plus never been to the Hollywood Bowl and would love to check it out. Good luck with tickets everyone!

They haven’t played DC on the reunion rounds at all so I wonder if the ticket situation will be rowdier than some of these repeat cities

i’d be so much more excited for PTV over almost any of those artists personally. some of them are cool to say “i got to see that band” but PTV is so in demand right now and crushes it, i’d love to see them again.

Oh sorry, I’m not upset at you for getting it wrong. I see how it could be read like that. I’m upset that Nashville gets them and not Jimmy eat world, breeders, iggy pop, etc

    MCR at Hollywood Bowl 10/21, 10/23, 10/24.

Probably lines them up for When We Were Young assuming they're running the weekend before again.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Something in the Way was a great time but I really wish it wasnt in the dead of winter. Definitely not committing to getting tickets with zero info but at least interested to see what the lineup looks like for year 2.

edit: oops should've scrolled up, looks like the lineup is out

How does this festival work? Is it just one venue for the full day or different venues around Boston?

Its 2 full days in the Roadrunner which just has one big stage but they bring in a small shorter stage w/ no barrier that gets set up in the very rear of the pit area. Stages are facing each other and the main stage plays while second stage is being set up and vice versa. It worked out ok last time but one big issue is I found is that you can't really get a good view of the 2nd stage from most of the balcony section which is the only place in the venue with seating where you can get a view of the stage. You kinda have to go up there at some point if you want to sit at all throughout the whole day. Also I think there was virtually no food available in the venue itself which was an extra pain in the ass in sub-zero temps.

Never been to Roadrunner but seems logistically to be a pain to have the audience basically turn around as each set ends....I do love some SDRE though

Something in the Way worked great last year (but I also wasn’t there the full day; did 3-4 hours each day)! Plenty of food in the area by the venue - but they also have empanadas for sale upstairs.

Like any festival, you just need to pick your spots as to when you take a break, grab food, etc.

That said, there’s significantly less for me on the line-up this year (though for a certain type of person it’s probably perfect) so I’m gonna be waiting before I get tickets.

Right??? Garbage compared to almost all the others

I'm torn because I'd rather see them not at a festival but Louisville is a little closer to me and surely there's someone on their day of LTL that I like more than fucking Pierce the Veil

  18. Man just saw the MCR dates and talked to my wife about yet another Nashville trip since we missed them at shaky knees and just saw the openers for the other dates…what the fuck lol

Is it possible they’re playing one of the Hollywood Bowl dates? Doesn’t seem like those openers have been announced yet

Flying up for SITW was a great choice. Less inclined to go this year, but would be there if I was local.

Definitely hard to post up in one spot for a full day, but I was mostly on the floor and shuffled up when I needed to. No food was a huge issue, but I just ate a big meal before + walked to a Turkish spot for a late night bite after lol.

This might also be a general Roadrunner issue, but it was tough that the last train into Boston was too tight with when the show ended. Paid up for some Ubers after getting to the venue for $3. Mostly a wash, but a 10p/1030p curfew would be nice to make the train an option.
