Morrissey cancels Boston and CT shows because of death threats.

I Knew he'd cancel, as i had that on my bingo card, a long time ago, but the reason? Nope. didnt have that.

This banning of Kneecap is wild. Like they weren’t even that big of an act and now they are probably getting so many more fans and exposure from that

Wonder if they'll still be doing all of Black Parade when they headline since it'll be the official 20 year. Also weird that Aftershock wouldn't get this announcement too? I wonder if they're waiting until the festival starts or MCR just won't be a headliner there.

I thought it was because they played Aftershock back in 2022 and they booked them for the other DWP fests, this plus their show at Oracle Park a few months ago.

Pretty sure I saw MCR on a digital billboard in Minneapolis today without the band name presented. It was clearly the guys in the picture

Yep! Minneapolis is one of the cities teasing, along with NYC, Nashville, San Diego, Detroit, San Antonio and a couple others I can't remember.

Pretty sure they are also playing riot fest. 2026 riot fest dates have already been announced and tickets are up for waitlist and go on sale on Sunday right as the fest ends

Love MCR. Love Riot Fest. But after what happened in 2022, I won’t be there for it if they do play. Hopefully the DWP fests are better at handling massive crowds of diehard fans.
