The firing of Josh Freese was bizarre but I did see NIN live this week and he absolutely dominated. Feels like a much better fit than with the Foos.

Seeing him do the drum part of "The Perfect Drug" was last night was incredible.

They're in town tomorrow night and have always been a bucket list band. Will be trying to score floor seats last second on stub hub etc.

Need to see Rainer Maria live…and I have also never seen Hey Mercedes so them too. Aside from those two I am largely unfamiliar with the rest of the lineup minus Ganser who are local. This is where I feel my young(ish) age lol.

Save Ferris west coast dates trickling out. Don't think I saw the east coast dates posted from last week

Exit Angles is the newer project of an older WV post-hardcore band, opened for Joyce Manor in Pittsburgh and it was awesome.

Cattle Decapitation has an announcement tomorrow. No Cure specifically teasing a US Tour announcement tomorrow.

Cattle Decapitation has to be either Europe tour or new music since they already have a US tour for the end of the year announced.

I don't usually have takes on this stuff but the dates and the show count make the poster a smidge confusing.

Does Austin do anything specific to get these types of one-off shows? Seems like they're poaching Nashville or Atlanta as the "Southern stop"

I was thinking Texas In July since it's practically a tradition that JT Cavey plays there every year but I kinda have a feeling that they're on hiatus again. LMTF is a good pick though.

they have their headliner coming up, bigger than Daoboys but not as big as currents. Just looking who has a tour this fall that would fit the bill.

Urgh, Barclays. I understand that MSG is unionized employees so it's more expensive and higher curfew penalties, but I really wish artists would stop doing Barclays....it is the worst sounding arena by far in the tri-state area!

I mean, Austin is known as the live music capital of the world. So I’m not super surprised that they got included on this run.

San Diego, on the other hand…
